This place was more an experience than a meal. Some of the food was a little out there for me, but it was well prepared, the staff was friendly and attentive, and I got to try some things I would never have otherwise. Had an amazing experience here. I loved that everything was made in a traditional way, while using good quality ingrediants. I also really enjoyed the comfortable atmosohere and excellent service. I will come again when I visit Cortez.
Came here for lunch takeout in the middle of a busy workday. Only true Mexico walk-in spot in the area, with a full menu of both familiar favorites and specialties. Lunch special was very reasonably priced. Looks like a low-key and clean place to dine-in as well. Restaurant was fairly full when we walked in, and our food was cooked and packed up very quickly. Will definitely grab lunch here again!
Easily the best Mexico you’re likely to get in Times Square. They have both authentic and American dishes, beer, and they’re great for groups. The food is sooo good my new favorite spot when I visit
